The Management Committee Meeting and Project Exchange Forum of the Southeast University-Goertek Excellent Engineer Technology Center for Wearable Medical and Healthcare was recently held successfully at Southeast University. Professor Liu Chengyu, Dean of the School of Instrument Science and Engineering and Director of the Technology Center, and Zhang Jinguo, Executive Vice President of Alpha Labs at Goertek Co., Ltd., attended the event. Faculty members from the School of Instrument Science and Engineering andthe National Graduate College for Elite Engineers ofSoutheast University, together with relevant project leaders and enterprise mentor representatives from Goertek Co., Ltd., participated in discussions and exchanges.
At the start of the meeting, Professor Liu Chengyu focused on key issues concerning the development of the Excellent Engineer Technology Center and delivered a comprehensive report on its work progress. The two sides then held in-depth technical discussions on ongoing cooperative projects and future plans. In terms of talent cultivation, they exchanged views on core aspects including jointly developed courses, teaching materials, lesson plans and teaching modes, aiming to create high-quality teaching resources that cater to industry needs and advance engineering education. In addition, they conducted detailed and forward-looking discussions on research topics for the five students who will soon start their internships at Goertek Co., Ltd., to ensure they gain substantial knowledge and experience from the practical training.
The successful convening of this Management Committee Meeting signifies that the Southeast University-Goertek Excellent Engineer Technology Center for Wearable Medical and Healthcare has entered regular operation, with all work progressing steadily. The outcomes of the meeting will further elevate the training of outstanding engineers, advancing toward the goal of solving practical problems, conducting authentic research and delivering tangible achievements in real-world engineering scenarios.
