On the afternoon of March 24, a corporate-university exchange symposium between Southeast University and China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) was held at the Jiulonghu Campus. Li Haipeng, CETC Group Supervisor, led a delegation of relevant leaders from the group headquarters and several member units. Sun Litao, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Southeast University Committee and Vice President, and Jin Shi, Vice President and Dean of the National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers, attended the symposium. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Xiaobing, Party Secretary of the National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers at Southeast University.
At the beginning of the meeting, Jin Shi warmly welcomed the delegation on behalf of the university. He said that Southeast University and CETC have long maintained a strong cooperative relationship and have achieved fruitful results in talent cultivation and scientific research collaboration. He expressed the hope that both sides would take this exchange as an opportunity to further deepen practical cooperation in areas such as joint training of exceptional engineers, co-construction of high-level research platforms, and development of high-level talent teams, and to explore new models and pathways for school-enterprise collaborative innovation, jointly building a demonstration benchmark for industry-education integration.
Li Haipeng said that Southeast University has distinctive disciplines and strong research capabilities, and that its advantages in electronic information and instrumentation sciences are highly aligned with CETC’s development strategy. This visit was not only a continuation of the deep friendship between the two sides, but also a new starting point for deepening cooperation toward the future. He hoped that both sides would further leverage their respective strengths to carry out more advanced and broader cooperation in areas such as joint breakthroughs in key technologies, shared innovation resources, and joint talent cultivation, truly achieving complementary advantages and mutual benefit.
Sun Litao said in the exchange that the university has always placed its strategic cooperation with CETC in a prominent position, and that both sides have a solid foundation for cooperation and broad prospects. He emphasized that Southeast University will continue to focus on major national strategic needs, promote collaborative research in key areas, accelerate the efficient alignment of innovation resources, and continuously improve the long-term mechanism of school-enterprise cooperation, thereby making greater contributions to serving national high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and self-strengthening.
During the discussion session, both sides held in-depth exchanges on key directions such as deepening strategic cooperation, promoting collaborative innovation in industry, academia, and research, strengthening joint talent cultivation, advancing key technology breakthroughs, and expanding the space for school-enterprise cooperation. They fully exchanged views on all issues and reached broad consensus, clarifying the direction and laying a solid foundation for future cooperation. After the meeting, the delegation visited Southeast University’s Shungui Laboratory and the National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers.
Relevant officials from the university’s Office of Domestic Cooperation, Research Institute, Human Resources Office, Laboratory and Equipment Management Department, Network and Information Center, National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers, School of Information Science and Engineering, and School of Instrument Science and Engineering attended the symposium.
