Recently, a delegation of faculty and students from Southeast University’s National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers visited Nanjing Keyuan Smart Technology Group Co., Ltd. Chen Yang, Deputy Party Secretary and Associate Dean of the school; counselors and student representatives; and Shen Mingde, Deputy General Manager of Nanjing Keyuan Smart Technology Co., Ltd., along with other enterprise representatives, participated in the exchange.
With the accompaniment of relevant officials from Keyuan Smart Technology, the school’s faculty and students toured the company exhibition hall, gaining a systematic understanding of the company’s development history, core technology products, and cutting-edge innovation achievements.
After the tour, both sides held a symposium. Chen Yang gave a detailed introduction to the overview of the National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers, its educational characteristics, and its practical achievements in cultivating innovative talent. Subsequently, an off-campus mentor appointment ceremony was held, and experts from Keyuan Smart Technology were presented with appointment letters.
During the discussion session, both sides focused on the effectiveness and forward-looking nature of talent cultivation and jointly explored innovative models for school-enterprise collaborative education. Student representatives also shared their experiences from the enterprise internship: “The exchange and learning experience at Keyuan Smart Technology has gone very smoothly. The dual-mentor system has provided us with a ‘dual engine’ of theory and practice, and the enterprise mentors’ generous guidance has given us confidence in solving complex engineering problems.” Based on these valuable feedback comments, the faculty, students, and enterprise representatives unanimously agreed that the innovation practices of the industry should be deeply integrated into the entire cultivation process through joint curriculum design, dual-mentor joint guidance, and collaborative research projects.
This exchange activity effectively enhanced the cooperation consensus between the school and Keyuan Smart Technology, laying a solid foundation for both sides to expand the dimensions of cooperation and promote the upgrading of industry-university-research integration at a new starting point.
