Recently, the new-generation unmanned security patrol vehicle system independently developed by Norinco Intelligent Innovation Research Institute of China North Industries Group Corporation was showcased in the systematic testing of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration’s new intelligent wildfire suppression equipment system, bringing “hardcore” technological strength to ecological security by breaking through the limitations of traditional patrol and inspection methods.
The new-generation unmanned security patrol vehicle system features a cloud-based collaborative architecture and deeply integrates advanced technologies such as autonomous navigation in complex terrains, multi-source sensing and detection, and intelligent decision-making. It directly addresses key pain points in traditional patrol operations: effectively reducing the risks of high-intensity manual patrol work, eliminating missed detections in manual inspections, and solving the problem of delayed response to sudden incidents. The system is equipped with 5G, radio, and satellite multi-mode communication modules, forming a three-tier intelligent response system of “single-vehicle detection – cluster coordination – command center,” which significantly improves efficiency in fire warning and emergency response compared with traditional manual patrol modes.
The successful testing of this unmanned security patrol vehicle system not only demonstrates innovative achievements in using technology to empower ecological security, but also promotes technological innovation and demand upgrading across upstream and downstream industrial chains such as intelligent sensors, special chassis, and new-energy power systems, creating a synergistic development effect of “driving the whole chain from one point.”
Looking ahead, the Innovation Institute will fully leverage its technological R&D advantages and launch the development of the next-generation unmanned security patrol system. By strengthening the real-time performance of AI algorithms and improving the intelligence level of multi-vehicle collaboration, it will continue to build a strong technological defense line for ecological security and provide solid technical support for national ecological security construction.
