To deepen the integration of industry and education, focus on practical technical needs, support the pilot reform program for cultivating engineering master’s and doctoral students, and further leverage the bridging role of the School of Exceptional Engineers in school-enterprise cooperation, a Southeast University–China National Petroleum technical exchange meeting was successfully held at Southeast University’s National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers on May 29. Participants included leaders and teachers from Southeast University’s National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers, the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and the School of Energy and Environment, as well as technical experts from the China National Petroleum Corporation National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers. The meeting was chaired by Chen Yang, Deputy Party Secretary and Associate Dean of Southeast University’s National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers.

At the meeting, leaders from both sides first expressed gratitude for the long-standing mutual support between the university and the enterprise, and respectively introduced the development of Southeast University’s National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers and the China National Petroleum Corporation National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers.
University scholars and enterprise experts engaged in discussions and exchanges on topics such as molecular technology, functional materials, biocatalytic materials, new energy, atmospheric pollution control, and solid waste treatment. They gave detailed introductions to technical needs, existing strengths, main research directions, and research achievements, effectively promoting in-depth scientific collaboration in related fields.
The two sides also held dialogue on school-enterprise joint cultivation and stated that they would further promote the establishment of a joint training mechanism for engineering master’s and doctoral students.
