On April 25, 2025, a school-enterprise cooperation exchange meeting between Southeast University and the 14th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) was held at Southeast University’s National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers. The meeting was attended by Xia Linghao, Executive Deputy Director of the National Key Laboratory of the 14th Research Institute, Sun Xuezheng, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department’s pre-research division, and three other representatives from the institute, as well as Cao Xianghui, Vice Dean of Southeast University’s National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers, Jiang Weixiang, Vice Dean of the School of Information Science and Engineering, and teachers from the School of Exceptional Engineers.
The meeting aimed to deepen the university-enterprise collaborative mechanism across the full process of cultivating exceptional engineering talent and to promote deep integration between talent cultivation and technological innovation. During the discussion, both sides focused on issues such as training fields, training plans, mentor teams, and platform construction. They agreed that major needs and key research tasks should be used as guidance, and that the combined strengths of the university and enterprise should be fully leveraged to jointly build core courses, practical training courses, and training platforms, while strengthening the mentor teams and improving the quality of exceptional engineer training. During the meeting, Cao Xianghui presented Xia Linghao with an enterprise mentor appointment letter.
This exchange further clarified the specific pathways and phased goals of cooperation, laying the foundation for subsequent joint technological research, platform construction, and a long-term collaborative mechanism. The two sides will next accelerate the implementation of specific cooperation items.
