On April 22, Chen Yang, Deputy Party Secretary and Associate Dean of Southeast University’s National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers, led a delegation to Zhejiang Gaojian Company for an exchange visit. The delegation included faculty and students from Southeast University’s School of Transportation, School of Civil Engineering, School of Instrument Science and Engineering, and the National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers. The meeting was attended by Peng Jianzhong, Party Secretary and General Manager of Zhejiang Gaojian Company; Chen Hui, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager; and Cao Qiangfeng, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager.
General Manager Peng Jianzhong first delivered remarks, warmly welcoming the Southeast University expert team and stating that Zhejiang Gaojian Company attaches great importance to technological innovation and talent cultivation. He expressed hope for in-depth cooperation with Southeast University’s School of Exceptional Engineers in areas such as engineering technology and joint talent cultivation, jointly promoting the implementation and application of more university research achievements.
Chen Yang introduced the school-enterprise cooperation model of the School of Exceptional Engineers, explaining that the school is vigorously reforming in promoting deep integration between universities and enterprises, advancing the transformation of achievements, and supporting joint talent cultivation. He expressed the hope that this exchange would bring more profound cooperation opportunities for both sides and jointly promote technological innovation and industrial development.
Subsequently, the Southeast University expert team held in-depth exchanges around enterprise needs and shared research achievements in multiple fields. The experts highlighted the latest research progress in bridge inspection technologies and equipment, road engineering, intelligent monitoring and disaster prevention, low-altitude simulation and UAV path planning, and geotechnical engineering. These discussions deepened the cooperative relationship between the university and Zhejiang Gaojian Company and provided new ideas and opportunities for future technological applications and project implementation. Both sides also discussed how to better apply research achievements to engineering projects and explored the possibility of technological breakthroughs and project implementation in future cooperation.
In the concluding remarks, General Manager Peng Jianzhong, Deputy General Manager Chen Hui, and General Manager Cao Qiangfeng stated that Zhejiang Gaojian Company would continue strengthening cooperation with the School of Exceptional Engineers in technological research, project implementation, and talent cultivation, jointly promoting technological innovation and progress in the industry.
This technical exchange meeting laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides. In the future, Zhejiang Gaojian Company and Southeast University will carry out broad cooperation in areas such as civil engineering and intelligent transportation.
