On April 21, Chen Yang, Deputy Party Secretary and Associate Dean of Southeast University’s National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers, led a delegation to Zhejiang Shuzhi Communications Technology Co., Ltd. for an exchange visit. The delegation included faculty and students from Southeast University’s School of Automation, School of Economics and Management, School of Transportation, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Instrument Science and Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, and the National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers. The meeting was attended by Shen Jian, Party Committee Deputy Secretary and General Manager of Shuzhi Communications; Chen Xiangyang, Deputy Chief Engineer; Liu Hongyi, Deputy General Manager of the Water Transport and Water Resources Division; and Yu Peng, Deputy General Manager of the Inspection Technology Company.
At the opening, Shen Jian welcomed the Southeast University expert team and stated that the company has always attached great importance to cooperation with universities, especially in the fields of low-altitude economy and intelligent transportation. He also introduced the company’s strategic planning in related areas and emphasized that it will continue to promote technological innovation and advance the digital and intelligent transformation of urban transportation.
Chen Yang introduced the School of Exceptional Engineers’ university-enterprise cooperation model and related developments, and said that Southeast University has accumulated rich research achievements in low-altitude economy and intelligent transportation. He expressed the hope of strengthening cooperation through this exchange and promoting the integration of scientific research and industry.
The Southeast University experts then engaged in in-depth discussions on enterprise needs and shared research achievements in several areas. They highlighted the latest progress in low-altitude economy and smart logistics, road digitization and intelligent inspection, port intelligence and green shipping technologies, hydrogen energy and marine engineering equipment, low-altitude simulation technologies, as well as bridge health monitoring and intelligent detection of expansion joint damage. These exchanges provided valuable ideas and practical directions for cooperation and will help promote the application of technology in engineering projects.
In his concluding speech, General Manager Shen again thanked Southeast University for its support and said that future cooperation would be strengthened in technological research and development, talent cultivation, and market application, jointly promoting technological progress and industry development.
This exchange meeting laid a solid foundation for deeper cooperation between the two sides. In the future, Shuzhi Communications and Southeast University will expand cooperation in areas such as the low-altitude economy and intelligent transportation, and jointly advance technological innovation and industrial development.
