On April 17, Deputy Dean Cao Xianghui led a delegation from Southeast University’s National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers to Tianjin to hold exchange meetings with subsidiaries of China Electronics Information Industry Group, including Kylin, Qi An Xin, and Feiteng. These companies are representatives of the PKS ecosystem of independent innovation in China Electronics’ information technology application and innovation sector. The participants included General Manager Quan Long of Kylin Software’s Tianjin Business Division, Lin Xuegang, General Manager of the University Cooperation Center of Qi An Xin Technology Group Co., Ltd., Lu Yujia, an expert in operating system security technology, Bai Shuming, Senior Research Director at the Education Development Center of Kylin Software Co., Ltd., Cao Xianghui, Deputy Dean of Southeast University’s National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers, and Tang Xusheng, a teacher from the School of Cyber Science and Engineering at Southeast University. The purpose of the event was to deepen school-enterprise cooperation, expand employment opportunities, and explore further collaboration in advanced talent cultivation and research projects.

During the visit, General Manager Quan Long first introduced the development history and ecosystem construction of Kylin operating system, a “national key technology.” During the symposium, participants discussed technical and industrial issues such as IT application adaptation, AI security, and functional safety of systems. Bai Shuming shared experience and achievements in the construction of training platforms, joint school-enterprise course development, and talent certification systems. Lin Xuegang shared experience and achievements in the construction of training platforms and student innovation support programs in the cyber security school.

Cao Xianghui introduced the National Exceptional Engineer training mechanism and proposed a vision for building an exceptional engineering technology center around the IT application and innovation ecosystem composed of basic hardware, basic software, application software, and information security. Tang Xusheng introduced the teaching and research directions and achievements of the School of Cyber Science and Engineering. All parties held in-depth discussions on strengthening professional practice internships and research cooperation in the next stage.
After the meeting, Cao Xianghui presented appointment letters to off-campus mentors from Qi An Xin and Feiteng, who are already supervising graduate students participating in enterprise practice. Through on-site visits and in-depth dialogue, the exchange further clarified the areas where the university and enterprise can jointly contribute to key technological breakthroughs in major national projects and to the cultivation of national exceptional engineering talent, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
