On April 11, Academician Sun Youhong, President of Southeast University, led a delegation to visit China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and held talks with Wang Haibo, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group. Vice President Jin Shi of Southeast University attended the meeting.
Sun Youhong first introduced the university’s important progress in recent years in talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, and discipline development. He pointed out that Southeast University’s disciplinary strengths are highly aligned with China Electronics Technology Group’s technological advantages, and that the foundation for cooperation is solid and the prospects are broad. He said both sides should take the opportunity presented by implementing the integrated development strategy of education, science and technology, and talent, focus on national strategic needs, further strengthen scientific research cooperation and joint cultivation of engineering talent, develop platform co-construction, and promote comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two sides.
Wang Haibo highly praised Southeast University’s achievements in scientific research and talent cultivation and introduced the latest accomplishments and future development directions of China Electronics Technology Group. He emphasized that CETC attaches great importance to cooperation with Southeast University, and that both sides should closely integrate major needs, scientific and technological innovation, and talent cultivation, strengthen efficient school-enterprise collaboration, and further broaden and deepen their cooperation.
Relevant leaders from CETC’s General Management Department, Organization and Human Resources Department, and Strategic Planning Department attended the meeting. Relevant leaders from Southeast University’s Graduate School and National Graduate School of Exceptional Engineers also participated in the activity.
